Well, let me tell you, this whole tarot career thing, it’s a real head-scratcher. My granddaughter, she’s all into it. Says it helps her figure out what job she should be doin’. Me? I just think you gotta work hard, whatever you do. But these young folks, they want somethin’ more, I guess. They want to know their best career path, you know?
She showed me these cards once, all colorful and with funny pictures. Said they could tell you about your future. Now, I don’t know about all that. Back in my day, you took whatever job you could get and were grateful for it. Didn’t have no fancy cards tellin’ you what to do. You just did it, you know that is career advice. But times are different now, I suppose.
These tarot cards, they got all sorts of things on ’em. Stars and moons and swords and cups. My granddaughter, she says each one means somethin’ different. Like, there’s one, I think it’s called the “Magician,” that’s supposed to be good for new beginnings. Sounds like a load of hooey to me, but what do I know? Maybe that is the tarot reading for career.
She says you gotta ask the cards a question, like, “What kind of job should I have?” or “Will I be successful?” Then you shuffle ’em around and pick some out. The way they land, that’s supposed to tell you somethin’. Seems like a lot of work to me. I always say, just listen to your gut. It will show your career guidance.
But I guess if you’re feelin’ lost, maybe it helps. This one time, my granddaughter, she was all worried about this job interview. She pulled out her tarot cards and did a readin’. Said the cards told her she’d do great. And you know what? She got the job! Maybe there’s somethin’ to it after all, this is a good tarot career spread. That is really a career prediction.
I still think hard work is the most important thing. You can’t just sit around waitin’ for some cards to tell you what to do. You gotta get out there and make things happen. But I guess if these tarot cards give people some comfort, or help them think things through, then maybe they ain’t so bad.

She said you can talk to people on there who know all about these tarot cards, I think that is online tarot reading. They’ll do a readin’ for you, even over the phone! Can you believe it? Back in my day, we didn’t even have phones in every house! That is about psychic reading platform.
She said these people, they’re called “psychics,” which sounds a little spooky to me. But she said they can help you figure out all sorts of things, not just your job. Like if you’re gonna find love or if you’re gonna have money troubles. They can help you solve your daily problems. My granddaughter, she said she talked to one about her boyfriend, and the psychic told her he was no good! She broke up with him right after. Maybe these psychics know what they’re talkin’ about.
I don’t know if I believe in all that, but I guess it’s popular these days. People are lookin’ for answers, I suppose. And if these tarot career readings and these psychics can help them, then who am I to judge? And I think it can help people to find your soulmate.
My granddaughter, she’s always sayin’ I should try it. Says it might help me figure out what to do with all my free time now that I’m retired. I told her I’m happy just sittin’ on my porch, watchin’ the world go by. But maybe I’ll give it a try, just for kicks. This is a way to get clarity and confidence.
