Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to make one of those monthly astrology calendars for a while now. You know, the ones that show the moon phases and what sign the planets are in. I figured it would be a fun little project, and hey, maybe I’d learn something about astrology along the way. I decided to roll up my sleeves and get started!
First things first, I needed to gather some information. I started looking up the moon phases for the month. I found out when the new moon, first quarter, full moon, and last quarter were happening. Then came the real fun part – figuring out where all the planets were going to be.
Next, I needed to design the layout. I went for a pretty standard calendar grid. I knew I would put the dates of the month in the little squares, but that was boring, so I decided to add some decorations to it. I drew the moon phases in each day, and also marked the days when planets changed signs. That was a bit of a headache to keep track of, but I managed.
After I had my basic calendar sketched out, I decided to make it look a little nicer. I found some cool astrology symbols online and printed them out. I cut them out and pasted them onto the calendar to represent each planet and sign. For the moon phases, I just drew little circles and shaded them in to match the phase. It was time-consuming, but it really made the calendar pop!
- Gathered data on moon phases.
- Looked up planetary positions for the month.
- Designed calendar layout with a grid format.
- Added moon phase drawings to each day.
- Noted down when planets changed signs.
- Found and printed astrology symbols.
- Cut and pasted symbols onto the calendar.
- Hand-drew and shaded moon phase circles.
Finally, I hung the calendar up on my wall. It turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself! It’s definitely a conversation starter, and it’s been helping me keep track of the general astrological vibe of the month. I’ve even noticed some patterns between the planetary positions and what’s going on in my life. Who knew?
Overall, this was a fun and relatively easy project. It took a little bit of time and effort, but it was totally worth it. Now I’ve got a personalized astrology calendar, and I feel a little bit more in tune with the cosmos. I might even make another one for next month!
