Okay, so I’ve been meaning to check out this whole “love asteroids” thing in astrology for a while now. It’s supposed to show you some insights into your love life, and honestly, who wouldn’t be curious about that? So, I finally decided to give it a shot and see what it’s all about.
First things first, I needed to find my birth chart. I just googled “birth chart calculator” and clicked on the first site that popped up. It asked for my birth date, time, and place. I plugged in all my info, hit submit, and boom, there was my chart. It looked like a complicated pie chart with all these weird symbols, but whatever. I wasn’t trying to become an astrologer overnight.
Next, I needed to figure out which asteroids were the “love” ones. A quick Google search later, and I found a list. Apparently, the main ones are Juno, Eros, and Sappho, but there were a few others too. I decided to just focus on these main ones.
I went back to the birth chart site, I used the asteroid number and added it to the original chart and it regenerated a new birth chart with the asteroids, and there they were, marked with their symbols. Juno was in my 7th house, which I think is the relationship house. Eros was in the 5th, which is something about romance and fun, I guess. And Sappho was chilling in my 1st house, which is supposed to be about self and identity. I made notes of each location.
Now came the fun part – figuring out what it all meant. I spent the next hour or so going down an internet rabbit hole, reading different interpretations of these asteroids in their respective houses and signs. It was kind of interesting. Like, Juno in the 7th is supposed to mean I value commitment and partnership, which, yeah, that’s pretty accurate.
- Juno – Partnerships and commitment, how you deal with relationships.
- Eros – Passion and desire, what turns you on.
- Sappho – Same-sex attraction, but also about beauty and sensuality in general.
I tried to make sense of the information that came up. And according to the stuff I read, I’m all about intense, passionate flings, but also I might be a bit of a romantic at heart. Not sure how I feel about that, but okay. And the Sappho thing is supposed to mean I’m attracted to beauty and have a strong sense of self. Sure, I can roll with that.
Honestly, it was a pretty interesting experience. I jot down all I’ve read and try to compare them with my current life. I’m not sure if I totally buy into all of it, but it did give me some things to think about. Maybe I’ll pay more attention to these asteroid placements in the future and see if anything resonates. It’s kind of like a fun little self-reflection exercise, even if you’re not a hardcore astrology believer.
What about you?
Have you ever looked into your love asteroids? I’d love to hear about your experiences! Maybe it helped you figure some stuff out, or maybe you thought it was all a bunch of baloney. Let me know in the comments!
