I’ve been into this Chinese astrology thing for a while now. It’s kind of like the Western zodiac but with different animals and stuff. I’ve got this idea to start tracking the weekly predictions, just to see what’s what and if there’s any truth to it. So, I started looking into it last week. First, I had to find out what the deal was with these horoscopes. Seems there are twelve animals, and they each have their own vibe.

Getting Started
I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down some notes. I figured I’d focus on just a few animals to start, you know, keep it simple. I picked the Rat, Dragon, Tiger, and Monkey. No real reason, just seemed like a good mix. Then I started looking for sources. There’s a ton of info out there, websites, books, you name it.
- First, I looked up the dates for each animal sign.
- Then I started reading up on the general predictions for each one.
Diving into Weekly Horoscopes
Once I had a basic understanding, I started searching for weekly horoscopes. I found a few sites that seemed okay, nothing too crazy. It’s all about keeping track of the dates. The horoscopes are usually published weekly, sometimes a few days before the start of the week. I started with the week of November 25 – December 1, because that’s when I found some good resources. It looks like the horoscopes for that week were already out, so I made notes about what each animal’s week was supposed to be like. Each animal has different things, like love life, work, and money. It’s a little hard to keep up with, but I’m doing my best.
Tracking and Comparing
Now comes the fun part. I started to keep track of what was going on in my life and the lives of people I knew who were those animal signs. I made a little chart in my notebook with the dates and some space for notes. I made some notes about the general vibe of each sign. Stuff like, the Tiger is supposed to be about orange, broken lines, and darkness, while the Yang is like, the opposite, with light and activity. Then there are these elements, like Metal, Water, Wood, and Fire, each with their own meanings. It’s a lot to take in, but it’s kind of cool to see how it all fits together. Each day, I’d write down anything that happened that seemed to match the predictions. It’s all very rough, but it’s a start.
After a week of doing this, I started to see some interesting things. It’s not like the predictions were spot on or anything, but there were some coincidences that made me think. I even found some information about the week of November 27 to December 3. I wrote down those predictions, too, to see if they lined up with the previous week’s. It’s all very basic right now, but I’m getting the hang of it.
I’m going to keep doing this for a while and see where it goes. Maybe I’ll expand to more animal signs later. It’s a fun little project, and who knows, maybe there’s something to this Chinese astrology thing after all. I’ll keep you guys posted on what I find!
