Okay, so the other day, I was thinking about love and stuff, and I stumbled upon this thing called “love asteroids” in astrology. I know nothing about astrology, but the idea of asteroids having something to do with love sounded kinda cool, so I decided to check it out.
First, I had to figure out what these love asteroids even are. Turns out, they’re just these space rocks that people named after love gods and goddesses. I guess in astrology, they’re supposed to tell you stuff about your love life. Who knew?
Then, I went down this rabbit hole of looking up different asteroids. There’s this one called Juno, which is all about marriage and commitment. Makes sense, since Juno was the Roman goddess of marriage. There are a ton of others too, like Amor, which is a more general “love” asteroid, and Cupido, which seems to be about desire and craving. And let me tell you, Cupido can be about all sorts of desire, not just the romantic kind. I saw one example where Cupido in Virgo in the Sixth House was about someone’s desire to serve and do their duty. Totally not what I expected!
I found this list of asteroids that are apparently a big deal in love and relationships. It mentioned Vesta, which represents purity and devotion, not exactly romantic but important nonetheless. There’s a whole bunch, and I realized this could get pretty complicated.
Now, I’m not an astrology expert or anything, but I wanted to see how these asteroids played out in my own birth chart. I had to find a website or app that could show me where these asteroids were when I was born. It took a bit of searching, but I finally found one that worked. I typed in my birth date, time, and place, and boom, there were my asteroids.
Figuring out how to read the chart.

- Then, I found a bunch of symbols and stuff on the chart that are supposed to represent the asteroids and planets.
- After that, I read about how these asteroids affect your love life based on their positions and relationships with other planets.
- Lastly, I compared all of this to my own life to see if it made any sense.
Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. There are so many asteroids and so many ways they can interact with each other. It’s like learning a whole new language. I spent hours reading descriptions and trying to make sense of it all. It’s kinda fun but also super confusing.
I’m still not sure what to make of it all. I did notice a few things that seemed to fit, but it could just be a coincidence. It’s interesting to think that these space rocks could have any influence on our lives, but who knows? Maybe there’s something to it.
