Hey everyone, it’s your girl back again with another one of my little experiments. Today, I’m diving into something a bit mystical, something that’s always fascinated me – astrology. Yeah, you heard that right, we’re talking stars, planets, and all that jazz. I’ve titled this adventure “Astrology Goddess,” ’cause why not feel like a goddess while exploring the universe, right?

So, I started this whole thing by trying to understand what astrology really is. I mean, we all read our horoscopes for fun, but there’s gotta be more to it. I did some digging and found out that it’s all about how the positions of the planets and stars can influence us. Sounds a bit out there, but hey, I’m open to it.
First things first, I needed to get the basics down. I started with the zodiac signs. You know, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and so on. There are 12 of them, and each one has its own symbol, like a ram for Aries or twins for Gemini. That was kinda cool to learn, matching up the animals and symbols to the signs. Oh man, memorizing all the signs was a fun challenge.
Then, I got into the whole ruling planets thing. Each sign is ruled by a planet, which supposedly influences the personality traits of people born under that sign. For example, Libra is ruled by Venus, which is all about love and beauty. I wrote all these connections down in my notebook.
- Aries (March 21 – April 19) – Ruled by Mars, the god of war.
- Taurus – Ruled by Venus, the goddess of love and prosperity, like Lakshmi in Hindu astrology.
- Gemini – Ruled by Mercury, the messenger god. That’s like Lord Mercury, known for communication.
- Cancer – Ruled by the Moon, linked to emotions and protection, similar to Goddess Parvati.
- And so on for the rest of the signs.
Here’s what I learned:
I even looked into the whole masculine and feminine signs thing. Apparently, fire and air signs like Libra, Gemini, Aquarius, Aries, and Leo are considered masculine. Don’t ask me why, it’s just what the old astrology books say. They are regarded as more active and strong-willed, while the earth and water signs are considered feminine, more passive and gentle.
What really got me hooked was the idea that women might be more into astrology because it deals with emotions and intuition. I mean, it kinda makes sense. Astrology gives you a way to look at your feelings and maybe get some guidance.
I spent days just reading and taking notes. I made charts, drew diagrams, and even started following some astrology pages. I was surprised at how much I was enjoying this. Then I tried something interesting: I tracked the major planetary movements for a week and tried to see if they matched up with how I was feeling or what was going on in my life.
For example, one day Mercury was in retrograde, which is supposed to mess with communication. And guess what? I had a huge misunderstanding with a friend that day. Coincidence? Maybe. But it was still pretty wild to see that play out. Then I tried to match the Greek gods and goddesses to each sign. Like Aphrodite with Libra, Ares with Aries. It felt like connecting the dots in a really ancient puzzle.

By the end of my little experiment, I wouldn’t say I’m a total astrology expert or anything. But I definitely see the appeal. It’s like this ancient, symbolic way of understanding ourselves and the world around us. And hey, if it helps someone feel more connected to the universe, that’s pretty awesome.
So, that’s my astrology adventure. I went from knowing nothing to feeling like I had a little glimpse into this ancient practice. It was a fun ride, and who knows, maybe I’ll keep up with it. After all, who wouldn’t want to feel like an astrology goddess every now and then?
