So, I turned 35 the other day, and I’ve been hearing all this stuff about the “12th house year.” Sounds kinda spooky, right? I figured, why not dive in and see what the fuss is all about?
First off, I needed to get my birth chart done. You know, the whole shebang with the planets and houses. Found this thing online where I just punched in my birthday, the time I popped out (thanks, Mom, for remembering!), and where I was born. It spit out this crazy-looking chart with all these symbols. I didn’t know what half of it meant, but there it was.
Next, I had to figure out this whole “house year” thing. Turns out, it’s pretty simple. You basically just match your age to one of the 12 houses in your chart. Since I’m 35, I’m in my 12th house year. Each house is supposed to represent different parts of your life. Like, one is about money, another is about relationships, and so on.
Now, this 12th house is apparently the one where you’re supposed to, like, reflect on your life and stuff. Think deep thoughts. I started reading up on it, and it’s supposed to be about your inner world, your subconscious, and all that jazz. Some people even say it’s a time to tie up loose ends and prepare for a new cycle. Sounds heavy, right?
- Step 1: Get my birth chart.
- Step 2: Find my house year (12th, ’cause I’m 35).
- Step 3: Read up on what the 12th house is all about.
I started to think about my life and all the things I’ve done, the good and the bad. It was kinda like watching a movie of my life, but in fast-forward. I spent some time jotting down things I wanted to work on, things I wanted to let go of. It’s not like I had some huge epiphany, but it did get me thinking about where I’m headed. Also, I tried to read what will happen from 36. They say I may be fostering my independence and initiative, and learning to handle communication in a more effective manner.
I also did some digging into my birth chart itself. From what I gathered, the 9th, 10th, and 11th houses are super important. The 9th is about your luck, the 10th is about your career, and the 11th is about your goals and wishes. Some folks say the 11th house is the strongest, so I’m kinda hoping that’s true for me!
My 12th House Year Checklist
- Reflect on the past year.
- Think about my goals for the future.
- Try to let go of any baggage I’m carrying.
- Maybe start a journal or something.
Honestly, I don’t know if I totally buy into all this astrology stuff, but it’s been an interesting experience. It’s like, even if it’s not 100% accurate, it’s still a good excuse to take stock of your life and think about where you want to go. And hey, who knows, maybe there’s something to this whole “12th house year” thing after all. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see!
Anyway, that’s my little adventure into the world of astrology. If you’ve ever done your birth chart or looked into your house year, let me know what you think! I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences.
