Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “career asteroids” thing popping up all over my astrology feeds, and I got curious. Like, could these little space rocks actually tell me something about my work life? I decided to dive in and see what all the fuss was about. This is what I did and what happened.
Digging for Asteroids
First, I needed to find my asteroid placements. I pulled up my usual birth chart site – you know, the free one everyone uses. I made sure the settings to show extra objects, including asteroids, was ticked, and I generated my chart. Took me a bit of clicking around, but finally I could see them all.
Finding the Right Ones
Next, I had to figure out which asteroids were even supposed to be about careers. So I googled “career asteroids astrology” and wow… information overload! There are tons of these things. I narrowed it down to a few that kept coming up:
- Vesta: Supposedly about focus and dedication.
- Pallas: Something about strategy and problem-solving.
- Juno: Apparently related to partnerships and commitments.
- Ceres: This one’s about nurturing and, maybe, finding work that feels meaningful.
Making Sense of My Chart
Okay, time to look at my own chart. I found where these asteroids were located, like which sign and house they were in. I had Vesta in Gemini in the 10th house, I made a mental note of the placement. For what it’s worth, Pallas was in Sagittarius in the 2nd house. Juno was chilling in Libra in the 1st house. And Ceres? That one was in Capricorn in the 4th house.
Trying to Interpret…
Now for the hard part: figuring out what this all means. I read through a bunch of different interpretations for each asteroid, in each sign and house. I made the following observations:
- Vesta in Gemini, 10th house: I read that it means I have to be diverse and adaptable in the area of career. Multi-tasking. Which is very true!
- Pallas in Sagittarius, 2nd house: This was about the money I make, I have to have a vision, be independent.
- Juno in Libra, 1st house: I could be good in partnerships.
- Ceres in Capricorn, 4th house: Comfort and stability in my career.
My “Aha!” Moment (Maybe?)
Honestly, some of it resonated. Like, the Vesta in Gemini thing about needing variety in my work? Totally me. I get bored easily if I’m doing the same thing over and over. And I have always considered myself an adaptable person. The Pallas stuff about needing independence, that’s me too. And as for Ceres, I like the sound of having comfort and stability in a career. So, maybe there’s something to this asteroid thing after all?
Still Skeptical, But…
I’m not about to quit my job and become a professional astrologer based on this, but I found this to be pretty fun. It definitely gave me some food for thought. It’s like, another lens to look at my career tendencies through. I’m thinking of looking at my friends’ charts now, just for fun!
