Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get into this whole astrology thing for a while, you know, just to see what the hype is about. And I figured the best way to really understand it is to track it myself. That’s how I came up with this idea for a monthly astrology calendar.
First, I grabbed a regular wall calendar, one of those big ones with plenty of space in each day’s box. Nothing fancy, just something practical. Then I started doing some digging online. I mean, I knew absolutely nothing about astrology beyond the very basics like, “I’m a Leo.” There’s a ton of information out there, it’s kind of overwhelming honestly. But I found a few websites that seemed reliable and easy to understand.
I decided to focus on the major stuff first – sun signs, moon phases, and any major planetary movements. For the sun signs, that was easy. I just noted down when the sun moved into a new sign each month. Like, “Sun enters Libra” on September 23rd, that sort of thing. Moon phases were a bit trickier.
- I marked down the dates for the new moon, first quarter, full moon, and last quarter.
- I even drew little moon symbols in the boxes to make it visual.
Now, the planetary stuff… that was a whole other level. I learned about things like “Mercury retrograde” and “Venus in Scorpio.” I decided to just pick a couple of planets to track initially – Mercury and Venus seemed like a good starting point. I’d write down when they entered a new sign or went retrograde. It was a lot of looking things up and cross-referencing, I won’t lie.
So, each day, I started making notes in my calendar. “Full moon in Aries,” “Mercury goes direct,” stuff like that. I also started paying attention to how I was feeling each day, just jotting down a few keywords – “productive,” “anxious,” “creative,” whatever. The idea was to see if there were any correlations between my moods and the astrological events.
It took a few weeks to really get into the rhythm of it. But after a while, I found myself looking forward to updating my calendar. It became kind of like a daily ritual. I would also use different colors for different things.
- Black for the moon phases.
- Red for Mercury.
- Pink for Venus.
It was actually pretty fun, and it made the whole thing more engaging. I even started looking up some basic interpretations of the different astrological events. Like, what does it supposedly mean when Venus is in Capricorn? Just for fun, you know.
After a couple of months of doing this, I gotta say, I started to see some patterns. It’s not like it was super precise or anything. But there were definitely days when I felt more in tune with the general vibe of the astrological forecast. Like, during Mercury retrograde, I did notice more miscommunications and tech glitches. Coincidence? Maybe. But it was interesting nonetheless.
Final Thoughts
This whole monthly astrology calendar project has been a real eye-opener. I wouldn’t say I’m a full-blown believer now or anything. But I definitely have a better understanding of the basics of astrology. And it’s been a fun way to connect with the natural world and the cycles of the moon and planets. I’m planning to keep it up and see where it takes me. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start tracking more planets next year!
