Okay, so, today I wanna talk about something I did recently that was kinda cool – I built a little online astrology bookstore. Nothing fancy, just a simple thing for folks interested in learning more about astrology. It all started when I was going down an internet rabbit hole, like I always do, and stumbled upon some really interesting stuff about astrology.
I mean, I’ve always been into horoscopes and stuff, but this was way deeper. Found a few books, like “Hellenistic Astrology: The Study of Fate and Fortune” by some dude named Chris Brennan. Sounds intense, right? And another one, “You Were Born for This: Astrology for Radical Self-Acceptance,” which seemed like a good starting point for someone like me, who’s just starting to get into this.
So, I started gathering more info. There’s this whole world of astrology books out there, it’s crazy! Everything from basic stuff like understanding the zodiac signs to super complex things like how to read birth charts and even predict the future. Who knew, right?
I decided to make a little online catalog of all these books. Not a real store, mind you, just a place where people could find these books easily. I found this huge list on some guy’s website, David Roell, I think his name was. He’s got tons of astrology books listed, both new and old. It was a goldmine!
I spent days, maybe weeks, just digging through all this stuff. I was learning so much! Like, did you know there’s a whole section on astrological houses? And you can actually learn how to calculate and draw birth charts? It’s wild. I found books that explained all this stuff, step by step. It was like learning a new language.
My little online bookstore started taking shape. I had sections for each zodiac sign, sections for beginners, sections for more advanced stuff… I even found books on specific topics like how astrology relates to relationships, or careers, or even just daily life. It was really coming together. I also add some button that could make people more easily to find what they want.
I’m not a professional astrologer or anything, and this bookstore is just a fun project I did. But I’m really proud of it. It’s like a little corner of the internet where people can explore the world of astrology, without getting overwhelmed. And who knows, maybe it’ll help someone discover a new passion, just like it did for me. I guess I need to work on it further, add more features, like comments or reviews, but the main thing is that I made it come true, which is something!
