So, the other day I got it into my head that I wanted to figure out who my soulmate is, you know, the old-fashioned way – through astrology. Not just any astrology, though. I decided to dive into Vedic astrology because, why not? It’s supposed to be super detailed and all that. So, I got started.
First, I needed to get my hands on my Vedic chart. Apparently, there’s this thing called a D-1 chart, and also something called a D-9 chart. They said it didn’t matter where I was living – New York, Portland, LA, anywhere. I found a few websites that generate these charts for you after inputting my birth details. I made sure to select the “sidereal” option because that’s what you’re supposed to do for Vedic charts.
- Looked up my D1 and D9 Vedic charts.
- Entered my birth info.
- Generated the charts.
Once I had my charts, it got a bit confusing. There were so many symbols and houses and planets. I tried to find any information about the name of a life partner or soulmate, but that seemed a little far-fetched, even for astrology. It’s not like they hand you a name on a silver platter. I focused on the houses that supposedly relate to partnerships and marriage. The 7th house is the big one for that. I read through what all those symbols in my 7th house meant, which planets were there, and how they supposedly influence my future partner.
Then I dug deeper and looked at the ruler of my 7th house, which planet governs it, and where that planet is hanging out in my chart. That’s supposed to give you clues about the qualities of your partner. I also checked out my D-9 chart because it’s supposed to reveal more about your spouse. It’s like a deeper dive into marriage stuff.
It Was Complicated
Honestly, it was a lot to take in. I spent hours going down this rabbit hole, reading articles, and watching videos. It wasn’t a simple process and I found myself a little confused. I might need to consult with a professional Vedic astrologer. Or maybe I’ll just leave it to fate. After all, it’s kinda fun to let things unfold naturally, right?
Anyway, that’s how I ended up spending my weekend. I can’t say I got any concrete answers, but it was an interesting experience for sure. Now I know the basics of reading a Vedic chart when it comes to dating at least!
