Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I wanted to try setting some intentions using the cards. I picked the 7 of Pentacles because it seemed to represent what I’m going through right now. I pulled out my tarot deck yesterday and, well, here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First, I cleared a little space on my desk – had to shove aside a bunch of papers and my half-empty coffee mug. I lit a candle, just a regular one, nothing fancy, to kind of set the mood, I guess. Then I sat down, closed my eyes for a few seconds, and just tried to chill out and focus.
The Card
I shuffled the deck a few times, thinking about what I wanted to achieve in the long run. I’m really pouring my heart into this new project. I spread the cards out face down and hovered my hand over them until one just felt… right. I flipped it over, and bam – 7 of Pentacles. I laid it out on the desk. This was totally right!
Figuring Out My Intentions
Looking at the card, I started thinking about my intentions. The guy on the card is looking at his plants, probably wondering if all his hard work is going to pay off. That’s exactly how I feel! So, my intentions became pretty clear:
- Keep working hard: I know this project is going to take time, so I need to keep putting in the effort. No slacking off. This card tells me I am on the right track.
- Be patient: Success isn’t going to happen overnight. I need to trust the process and not get discouraged if things are moving slowly. The card clearly says it is going to take a while to see the results.
- Take breaks to reflect: It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind. I need to remember to step back once in a while and check if I’m still on the right path. Look at the big picture, you know? That is the most resonating part, I can not just keep working on it.
Putting It Into Action
After I figured out my intentions, I spent some time just meditating on the card. I visualized myself successfully completing my project and feeling that sense of accomplishment. Then, I wrote down my intentions in my journal so I wouldn’t forget them. The last thing I did was put the card on my little altar thingy where I could see it every day as a reminder.
Wrap-up
So yeah, that’s how I used the 7 of Pentacles to set some intentions. It was a pretty cool experience, and it actually helped me feel more focused and motivated. I’m definitely going to keep doing this with other cards and see where it takes me. Maybe I am on the right track!
