Today I really wanted to try something new with my tarot cards, so I decided to pull the Ace of Pentacles as the outcome card for a reading. I’ve heard a lot about this card and was curious to see how it played out in practice.
I started by shuffling my deck, really focusing on what I wanted to achieve in the near future. You know, kind of setting my intentions and all that jazz. Then I laid out the cards in a simple spread I like to use. It’s nothing too fancy, just a few cards to get a general overview.

The first card I pulled was pretty spot on, it showed that I’m in a stable place but maybe a bit too comfortable. The second card, the challenge, indicated that I might be a little too hesitant to take risks which is fair, I do like playing it safe. The third card, which is what I should focus on, suggested that I need to be more open to new opportunities and maybe step out of my comfort zone a bit.
Now, the Ace of Pentacles as the outcome, this is where it gets interesting. From what I know, this card is all about new beginnings, especially in terms of finances or career. It’s like the universe is saying, “Hey, there’s some good stuff coming your way, be ready!”
So, I started to focus on what I could do in the here and now, rather than just daydreaming about the future. I made a list of practical steps I could take. Like, I’ve been thinking about starting a small online business, so I wrote down some ideas for that, researched a few things, and even reached out to a friend who’s done something similar.
It was actually really empowering. I felt like I was actually doing something, you know? Not just waiting for things to happen. I’m still working on things, and there’s a long way to go, but I feel like I’m on the right path. The Ace of Pentacles was a great reminder that there’s abundance and prosperity out there, but you also gotta put in the work to get it. So, yeah, that was my little experiment with the Ace of Pentacles. It was a good one, definitely something I’ll try again.
