Okay, so the other day I tried out this whole “7 tarot yes or no” thing. I’ve always been curious about tarot, you know? But it seemed like a lot to learn. This felt like a good way to dip my toes in the water.

First, I found a quiet spot in my house. You know, to get in the zone. I lit a candle – just a regular one, nothing fancy – and put on some chill music. I wanted to make sure I was relaxed and focused.
Then I grabbed my tarot deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up a while back. I shuffled the cards a few times, just kind of getting a feel for them. I’m not gonna lie, I felt a little silly at first, but I went with it.
The Process
- I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths. I tried to clear my mind and focus on the question I wanted to ask. It was a simple “yes” or “no” question about a decision I’ve been wrestling with.
- Then, I spread the cards out in front of me face down and selected seven cards, I picked them one by one, really trying to tune in to my intuition, if you know what I mean.
- I flipped them over. I remember seeing The Chariot, which seems to indicate triumph and providence.
- I counted them up. More upright cards meant a “yes,” more reversed cards meant a “no.”
In my case, I got mostly upright cards, so the answer was a “yes.” To be honest, it was kind of a relief. It felt like the universe was giving me a little nudge in the right direction, you know?
I sat there for a few minutes, just reflecting on the cards and the answer. I don’t know if I believe in all this stuff 100%, but it was definitely an interesting experience. It made me think, and maybe that’s the real point of it all. It’s like, even if it’s just a coincidence, it can still give you some clarity or at least something to ponder. Anyway, that’s my little tarot adventure. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime.
