Oh man, 1976, that was a wild year, huh? I remember I was really into this whole astrology thing. I even started keeping a diary about it. So, the other day, I was digging through some old boxes and found my notes on the astrology emphasis for 1976. I gotta say, it brought back some memories!
I was trying to figure out what the stars had in store for us that year. I started by grabbing a bunch of those astrology magazines and websites. I mean, back then, the internet wasn’t what it is today, but there was still some stuff out there.
Here’s what I did:
- Gathered a ton of info: I basically copied down everything I could find about planetary transits, aspects, and sign entries for 1976. You know, like when a planet moves from one sign to another or when they form certain angles with each other.
- Focused on the big guys: I made sure to note down the movements of all the major celestial bodies – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, you name it. Even got into the details of the True Node and Lilith, cause why not?
- Checked out the retrograde periods: I marked down when planets were going retrograde. That’s always a fun time, right? Mercury retrograde, in particular, seemed to be a big deal, so I definitely paid attention to that.
- Noted down the Full and New Moons: I also jotted down the dates of all the full moons and new moons throughout the year. Those are always good for setting intentions or just having a good howl at the moon.
- Did some reading on the Year of the Dragon: Turns out, 1976 was the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac. I found out people born in that year are supposed to be smart, honest, and patient. That’s pretty cool, right?
- Made a lot of charts: This is the fun part! I wrote down some charts to visualize the positions of the planets at different times. It makes understanding the whole picture easier. For instance, on February 1st, the Sun was at 11 degrees Aquarius, the Moon at 19 degrees Aquarius, and Mercury at 23 degrees Capricorn. I wrote down such positions for the whole month.
Putting it all together
I spent hours poring over these notes, trying to piece together the astrological puzzle of 1976. I remember feeling like I was onto something, like I was unlocking some secret code to the universe. I even tried to match up the astrological events with what was going on in the world and in my own life. There was definitely some trippy stuff that happened in the 70s. It was a time of new beginnings. A 2,000-year period that began in the 70s. It’s called the Age of Aquarius.
Looking back, I’m not sure how much of it was accurate or just wishful thinking. But hey, it was a fun project, and it definitely made 1976 a year to remember. Maybe I should dig out my old telescope and see what the stars are up to these days…
