So, yesterday I decided to dive into this whole astrology thing and figure out my Aries astrology chart. I’ve always been curious about what all these signs and planets mean, and since I’m an Aries, I thought, why not start there? I grabbed my laptop and started searching around.

First things first, I needed to find out my exact time and place of birth. I texted my mom – she remembers everything. Turns out, I was born at 7:32 AM in a small town. With that info in hand, I found some websites that create birth charts. You just punch in your details, and bam, there’s this complicated-looking wheel with all sorts of symbols and lines.
I felt a bit lost at first, I mean, what are all these squiggles? I found a guide on how to read these charts. Apparently, the wheel is divided into 12 sections, each representing a different area of life. Then there are planets scattered around, each symbolizing different energies. And of course, the signs, which I knew a little about already. I started with the outer rim to locate my sign.
- The Sun: This one was easy, it’s in Aries, which means that’s my main sign. I read that it represents your core identity.
- The Moon: Mine’s in Leo. It’s all about emotions and inner feelings.
- Rising Sign: This was a new one for me, apparently, it’s how you appear to others. Mine is in Sagittarius.
I spent hours trying to decode each planet’s position and what it meant in each house. It’s like learning a new language! Each planet has its own vibe – like, Mars is all about action and energy, while Venus is about love and relationships. It was a lot to take in. I learned that Aries is a really dynamic sign, full of energy and passion, but also can be impulsive. And get this, many Aries find good matches with younger partners! Interesting stuff.
I also learned that Aries is ruled by Mars, which makes sense because Aries is known for being dynamic and action-oriented. They can be impulsive and maybe not think things through, which totally resonates with me, ha! It also said that Aries might be drawn to Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that.
It’s a Work in Progress
Honestly, I’ve only scratched the surface. There’s so much more to learn about aspects, which are the angles between planets, and how they all interact. But it was a fun start. I feel like I understand myself a bit better now, or at least I have some new things to think about. It’s pretty cool to see how all these different parts of the chart come together to paint a picture of who you are.
I’m definitely going to keep digging into this. Maybe I’ll even get a proper reading from an astrologer someday. But for now, I’m pretty proud of myself for figuring out the basics of my Aries chart. It’s like I’ve unlocked a secret code or something!
